Clean-up along Halfmoon Road – a joint project with Runners for Public Lands. With roughly 30 volunteers, this group tackled clearing several loads of trash and dispersing 65 illegal fire rings! A handful of volunteers also installed new buck and rail fencing at the kiln sites (FS – Heritage Resource) along the road to protect this cultural resource. We’re so appreciative for the turnout and for the opportunity to advocate for regenerative tourism! We do this work to keep our community clean, protect our precious outdoor spaces, and instill a sense of responsibility and belonging with both residents and visitors. Cheers to a very successful day!
